near to the soul buoy
is an ongoing project interlaced with null landing. Drawing on the repertoire of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and taking the cartographic/conceptual closeness of the Luso-African nation of São Tomé e Príncipe and “Null Island” as a paradoxical point of departure and entry, I perform transdisciplinary maneuvers to bring us nearer, following Clarice Lispector, to the wild heart (of language).
this page is host to a digital archive. you can view the information rendered as written entries in microblog style in the field notebook. taken together with null landing, these offshoots or distributaries work to disclose the interconnectedness of all things.
in assembling the data for this project i have attempted to take great care in making clear the sources from which I gathered these materials. to make suggestions, objections, or to request further details about any of the entries, please email info@nulllanding.com
